Frutiger Home Photo Filters, UI Themes & Graphics Settings
Half the fun of a Frutiger Aero house is the screenshot. The game has more camera and interface options than most decorating games, and reviewers keep pointing out that there are settings for everything.
Photo filter presets
You can save your own filter presets. One launch-week reviewer listed the sliders:
| Slider | Effect |
|---|---|
| Bloom | Glow around bright surfaces, the signature glossy look |
| Saturation | Colour intensity |
| Temperature | Warmer or cooler light |
| Tint | Green to magenta shift |
| Fisheye | Lens distortion, great for small rooms |
| Vignette | Darkened edges |
| Grain | Film or old-camera texture |
| Sharpen | Crisper edges |
| Noise | Digital noise, for a mid-2000s webcam feel |
A preset that suits the style: bloom up, saturation slightly up, temperature slightly cool, a little vignette, no grain.
UI themes
Demo update v0.1.0 added three new UI themes: Technozen, Zen and Metro Green, on top of the default. Reviewers also mention customising the HUD for different styles. Match the theme to your house: Metro Green for Metro builds, Zen for calm Eco interiors.
Graphics settings that change the look
- Ray tracing: needed for proper mirror reflections, but heavy. See can I run it.
- Bloom and blur: separate from the photo filter. Lower them if everything looks hazy.
- Shadows and reflections: first to drop on older PCs.
Accessibility note
A reviewer suggested colour names on hover for colourblind players. It is not confirmed as a feature yet; use the hex field in Edit Style to pick exact colours instead.
